JAMES BALDWIN

His many books include Go tell it on the Mountain, Giovanni's room, Another country, Notes of a native son, and Nobody Knows my name. He published several other collections of non-fiction, including  The fire next time, Nothing personal, No name in the street, The devil finds work, The price of the ticket and Evidence of things Not Seen; and he wrote the plays the amen corner and Blues for Mr Charlie. His short stories were collected in the volume Going to Meet the Man. His later works include the novels Tell Me How Long the Train's Been Gone, If beale Street coudl Talk and Just above My Head; Little man, little man, a book for children, and Jimmy's blues, a volumen of poetry.
