OPORTO BY THE WATER | MASSARELOS & MIRAGAIA
Miragaia is the place of birth of one of the most important Portuguese writers: Almeida Garrett, a birth that ocurred in 1799. Facing the water, full of narrow stairs and labyrinths, Massarelos is home to several people connected to the sea. In the 13th century, there were even salt flats.
